Come & See Days 2025

During Holy Week 2025, the Spiritual Family The Work invited young men for Come & See days at the Collegium Paulinum, our house of formation in Rome.  Six men from Austria, Hungary, Lithuania and Israel participated in this spiritual adventure.

The celebration of the liturgy, fraternal community life and working together in the house and in the garden were at the centre of these days.  We also talked about fundamental topics of being a Christian, following the Lord more closely and the vocation of the Spiritual Family The Work.

We visited the Papal Basilicas and passed through all the Holy Doors.  We took part in liturgical celebrations at St Peter’s Square, visited the catacombs of St Sebastian and took a walk along the Via Appia, the ancient road via which St Peter and St Paul arrived in the Eternal City of Rome.

The celebration of the Easter Triduum at the Collegium Paulinum - with the Easter Vigil at 4 a.m. - was the liturgical highlight of the Come & See days, which came to a close on Easter Monday with an excursion to the old Cistercian Abbey of Fossanova. In this hallowed place where St Thomas Aquinas died, we celebrated Holy Mass for Pope Francis, who had just been called to the eternal paschal feast.
