Meditating with words of Mother Julia on the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady
By her glorious assumption into heaven Mary is a sign of God. Again and again she draws our attention to the final union with the Lord, when we shall be with him for all eternity, for his honour and glory, in a perfect union of love.
O dear Mother Mary,
let me hold your hand,
lead me on, that I firmly may stand.
In the bond of unity
show me like a child to be.
Teach me to be God’s instrument
for Our Lord’s redemptive work.
Where Jesus send me to
give me courage to serve Him like you.
May I follow in His way
in the service of each day
loyal and firm, in all deeds true
among those who pass away.
